Tea for Blu 2025

Our 5th annual Tea for Blu will take place this spring at the Shangri-La Hotel, Toronto on Sunday April 13th, 2025.

Save the date and join us for an afternoon of socializing, a delicious tea service, fun activations an exciting raffle.

Your support of Tea for Blu will enable ground-breaking research to be a reality that may make the dream of curing Tay-Sachs Disease come true.

This year Blu Genes is proud to continue our support to SickKids and the University of Massachusetts.  We will support a dedicated research team at SickKids as they work with gene editing technology – CRISPR Cas-9 to permanently change the Tay Sachs Disease gene – helping to eliminate symptoms from patients.  Blu Genes will also continue work that is leading to the second clinical trial for Tay-Sachs that is targeting to be the first FDA approved treatment providing hope for patients diagnosed today and in the future.
