Velo Blu 2025

Save the date for this Fall’s most anticipated ride and event:
VELO BLU – Friday September 19th.

Thank you to all of our sponsors, participants and guests who helped to make our 5th annual VELO BLU such a great success on September 13th, 2024.  Our distance riders enjoyed a scenic journey through the breathtaking landscapes of Niagara-on-the-Lake and the Niagara Region, while guests seeking a more relaxed way to Experience Niagara indulged in curated activities. These included a leisurely guided bike tour of Trius and Bella Terra wineries or Peller Estate’ unique sip, sense and see experience. The day culminated with a celebratory wine reception and lunch in a picturesque setting overlooking the Peller Estate vineyards.

With your help we reached our fundraising goal of $400,000! This support will be directed to a dedicated research team at SickKids who are advancing a gene editing approach to Tay-Sachs disease with the hope of a meaningful treatment for patients in the near future.

Support of VELO BLU  is making research for rare diseases a reality. Be part of Velo Blu this Fall and experience this high-end charity ride and sought after event. Help Blu Genes continue to raise necessary funds to advance gene therapy research to find treatments for rare diseases while we celebrate with great, food, wine, company and sense of accomplishment.
